V.I. Department of Human Services

The Department of Human Services – Office of Child Care and Regulatory Services has announced that a meeting with child care providers will take place Monday, Nov. 20.  The meeting is convened to provide child care providers with updates on the block grant program and related matters, as well as to address concerns and issues of child care providers on St. Croix.

It will be held at 1 p.m. at the Herbert Grigg Home for the Aged.  All child care providers are encouraged to attend this very important meeting, according to a press release from DHS.

The Head Start Center in Mars Hill, Frederiksted will open from 7:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 20, for Frederiksted 1-10. Regrettably, bus transportation will not be available, but regular hot meals will be served.

Parents are encouraged to visit the Head Start Administration in Anna’s Hope regarding early learning opportunities and/or program updates.
