Sept. 8, 2003 – Efrain Feliciano Jr. has been elected president of the St. Thomas Rescue Inc. board of directors for a three-year term.
Elected to serve with him from 2003 to 2006 are Richard Blake, vice president; Andrea Auguste, secretary; Lorraine Francis, treasurer; and Jean Greaux, public relations officer.
The board has appointed Liston Thomas as chief of operations for daily response activities and Carl Fleming as assistant chief.
According to a release from the not-for-profit agency, Feliciano has 18 years of experience as an instructor in light medical and heavy-duty rescue techniques, Blake has 18 years of experience in dive rescue and heavy-duty techniques, and Auguste has 15 years of experience in medical and extrication techniques. Francis and Greaux have been associated with St. Thomas Rescue for 15 and 17 years, respectively, both assisting with various activities.
