Innovative Companies Make Donation to United Way of St. Croix

Innovative Companies today, matching donations made through employee payroll deductions, made a donation of $8,500 to United Way of St. Croix. Innovative Companies Vice President of Public Relations/Governmental Affairs Jennifer Matarangas-King presented the check to United Way of St. Croix Board of Governors Chair Averil George.
Innovative Companies, as a major supporter of United Way of St. Croix and as a good corporate citizen, has issued a challenge to its employees to match the $8,500 donation through the employee payroll deduction program offered by United Way of St. Croix. Workplace giving through payroll deduction is a small amount deducted per paycheck that adds up to a larger annual gift and the member agencies are reassured by the commitment. Donations are distributed to United Way of St. Croix member agencies – Bethlehem House, Boy Scouts of America, Catholic Charities, Civil Air Patrol, Interfaith Coalition, Legal Services and Men’s Coalition
“The Innovative employees are part of the United Way of St. Croix family,” said Averil George, United Way of St. Croix Board of Governors chair. “We are extremely proud to have Mrs. Jennifer Matarangas-King representing Innovative Companies and are encouraged by their outstanding support and dedication to the less fortunate of our community.”
Ana L. “Anita” Davila, president/CEO of United Way of St. Croix said, “Innovative Companies and its employees make it count. Their support of United Way of St. Croix and our member agencies cannot go unnoticed. The board of governors, management and staff, and member agencies of United Way of St. Croix thank Innovative Companies for its donation during these difficult economic times and always answering the call for support from United Way of St. Croix.
Employee payroll deduction is tax-deductible. Call the United Way of St. Croix office at 718-0582 and ask about the employee payroll deduction program.
