V. I. Caribbean Cultural Center Hosts Launch and Roundtable

The Virgin Islands Caribbean Cultural Center (VICCC) will host an official St. Croix campus Launch and Roundtable featuring UVI Administration and Culture Bearer Remarks along with video presentations of VICCC 2012 events and summits from noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30, in the Great Hall. A light lunch and refreshments will be served. Please RSVP.
Invitations have been extended for remarks from UVI President Dr. David Hall, UVI Provost Dr. Camille McKayle, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) Dr. Simon Jones-Hendrickson and VICCC Director Dr. Chenzira Davis Kahina. Presentations and commentary will be provided by other members of the UVI administration and faculty to share the vision, mission, past and future events of VICCC. A roundtable discussion on V.I. and Caribbean culture and heritage restoration will be part of this official launch on St. Croix, which is regarded as the cultural capital of the VI.
