Elections Office Holds Extended Registration Hours

With the voter registration deadline for the November General Election approaching, the St. Croix office of the V.I. Election System is holding special sessions for citizens to come in and register.

The deadline to register is Sunday. The office on Tuesday released the following schedule for voter registration.

Register at the Sunny Isle office from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday; and from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.

To register, a citizen must be 18 years of age or older, and bring either a birth certificate or a U.S. passport, or a military discharge form (DD214) and a naturalization certificate.
