Ann Marie Hecker of New York City died on June 8 at her residence. She was 83 years old.
She is survived by her sons: Tyrone Hecker (St. Croix), Charles Hecker and Ivan Hecker (N.Y.C.); daughters: Rochelle Hecker (N.Y.), Deborah Hecker (Va.), Rachael Hecker (N.Y.), Yasmine Hecker (N.Y.) and Nancy Hecker (N.Y.); daughters-in-law: Laurel Hecker (V.I.), Ivelesse Hecker and Antoinette Hecker; sister-in-law: Cleopha Isaac; and grandchildren: Kecia, Layla, Tyrone Jr., Nicole, Pierre, Isis, Idalia, Pamela, Raymond III, Jamar, Joseph Jr., Tiffany, Shermaine, Harold Jr., Jason, Michael, Travis, Ann, Ricky, James Jr., Cynthaly, Larry, Charles Jr., Ryan, Candice, Ivan Jr., Alexandria and Royelle Marie.
She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Daeshon, Daquanna, Steven Jr., Kiara, Melasia, Kimora, Tatyana, Jahmil, Khaleim, Tiana, Dejon, Jason Jr., Mariah, Aiden, Issiah, Dwayne, Ja’Niyah, Treyvon, Sarafina, Iriada, Kalima, Imani, Jeff Jr., Adriana and Zemorah; nieces and nephews: Rupert Isaac, Rachael Isaac, Sandra Isaac, Stanley Isaac, Kenneth Isaac, Ronald Isaac, Greg Isaac and Loretta Isaac; other family in New York and St. Croix: Gittens, Messerses, Princes, Cornelliuses Isaaces, Joneses, Alveses and Williamses; and a host of other cousins, family members and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
A viewing will take place at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 15, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery
