Katherine Rivera-Nanton Dies at 46

Katherine Rivera-Nanton, also known as Kathy, of Mon Bijou died on July 20, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 46 years old.
She is survived by her father, Marcial Rivera; daughters: Nathalie Brookes, Debbie Ann Nanton- Smith and Katherine Rivera; sons: James, Alex, Charles, Seymour and David Nanton; grandchildren: Anirah Smith, Jah’ Coi Nanton, Jayden Nanton, David James Nanton, Irena R. Silcott-Nanton, Dae’Tian D. Nanton and Maye’ Le D. Nanton; daughters-in-law: Quintina S. Nanton, Ishanda Nanton and Mekeds Mesganaw-Nanton; son-in-law, Clifton Smith; sisters: Taty Parrilla, Sol and Marilyn Rivera, Migulita and Rosa Corcino, Irone and Kima Merrick, Lolita Rosa, Anna Cecelia DeJesus and Malta Dejesus; and brothers: Jose Gonzalez, Estanisloa Rosa Jr., John Clouden, Withfield Merrick, Selwyn Gonzalez and Pedro Parrilla.
She is also survived by nieces: Jahnella , Daisy and Virginia Harvey, Trevina Simon, Nunet Bailey, Saheeda and Shenique Blake, Tisha and Shakima Edwards, Laniqua Gonzalez, Gianna Melendez and Ivelisse Parrilla; nephews: Akumba Harvey, Albert, Allan and Alvin Edwards, Selwyn Gonzales Jr., George Blake, Jullian Parrilla, Bryan Lindo, Juan Carlos Acosta and Samuel Melendez; great nieces: Kimaya Jackson, Tianna Taylor, Shalayah Miller and Azariah Harvey; great nephews: Tiyrelle Taylor, Akumba Harvey Jr. and Amani; special friends: Jason Henry, Yolanda Maldonado, Norma Hassell, Yvonne Parris and family, Anna, Sherri Hinnigan; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, at the Central Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
