St. Thomas Radiology 4th Annual Women’s Regatta/Tennis Tournament Set

The St. Thomas Radiology Women’s Regatta and Tennis Tournament goal is to promote women’s tennis, sailing and camaraderie. The tennis part will take place Nov. 12-15, and the sailing will be held Nov. 14 and 15, at the St. Thomas Yacht Club.

The tennis portion of the event will include Women’s A, Women’s B and Women’s Open Doubles. Matches will be best of three tiebreak sets, depending on the number of entrants. Balls and T-shirts will be provided. There will be a registration fee to enter.
Girls (12 and older) and women are invited to enter the regatta portion of the event. Competitors will race in double-handed Club 420 dinghies. The double-handed feature allows women to team up and race. Friends, sisters and mother-daughter teams have competed in the past. The race format will be round robins on windward-leeward and triangular-shaped courses in Cowpet Bay. The entry fee includes a T-shirt and meals. Tennis players and sailors will come together at the end of the weekend to enjoy an Awards BBQ.
