They will be recognized at the 7th Annual Tommy Star Awards Gala scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Marriott's Frenchman's Reef Resort.
The red carpet event presents awards to Virgin Island employees in the following categories: Hotel Associate of the Year, Hotel Supervisor of the Year, Retail Associate of the Year, Attraction/Activity Associate of the Year, Taxi Operator of the Year, Restaurant Associate of the Year, Airline Associate of the Year, Hospitality Support Service Associate of the Year and Public Service Associate of the Year (government). "These unique awards were conceived to acknowledge hospitality employees for their service excellence," said Lisa Hamilton, president of HTA. "Since its inception, the Tommy Awards have honored individuals who might not have been recognized otherwise. It is gratifying to bestow one of our illustrious awards on these employees that help to separate our destination from others."
Of course the success of this event could not be possible without generous sponsors. Levels of sponsorship range from $500-$5000 and can include booklet advertising, complimentary tickets, recognition in all event advertising and public relations, and acknowledgement during event, depending on level.
To request a nomination form or to learn more about sponsorship opportunities, contact the HTA office at 774-6835, or e-mail stsjhta@vipowernet.net.
