Sept. 26, 2005 – Vashti Elsie Naugton of Herbert Grigg Home of the Aged, died on Monday, Sept. 19. She died at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and was 87 years old.
She is survived by her son, Bertram O. Walters; grandchildren: Sydney and Sandra Walters; great grandchildren: Latoya Walters and James Linville. Survivors also include brothers: Charles H. and Alpheus Walters; nieces: Janet, Valerie, Sylvia, Jean, Dolly and Jennifer Liburd, and Patricia, Phyllis and Cheryl Walters; nephews: Leonaldo and Bernard Liburd, and Delano, Vincent, Ricardo and Lorenzo Walters, and Lionel Jeffers. Other survivors are relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 10 a.m., at the Christiansted Seventh-day Adventist Church followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Kingshill Cemetery.
