The V.I. Waste Management is looking for volunteers to serve on a territorial Citizens Advisory Committee.

Four University of the Virgin Islands students – Patricia Rogers, Ghadeer Taha, Heba Abdallah and Shoshana Pemberton – won the top three prizes in the first 13D Student Entrepreneurship Competition, which concluded on Friday, May 4.

Fourteen University of the Virgin Islands students in eight teams will compete for $60,000 in business startup funding during the final round of the first 13D Student Entrepreneurship Competition scheduled for Friday, May 4, on the St. Thomas campus.

The 32nd Annual Caribbean Conference will be held on St. Thomas this June 3-5.  This year’s theme, “Journey to Sustainability,” will set the tone for the two-day insurance industry event.
