21-Year-Old Arrested for Alleged Sexual Relationship with Minor

St. Croix police arrested Leo R. Frett on Thursday and charged him with aggravated rape in the second degree after police allegedly determined that he was engaging in a sexual relationship with a minor female.

According to the affidavit filed by the case agent, Frett, who is 21-years-old, allegedly had a two-year sexual relationship with a minor that began when she was 13-years-old.

Police said Frett met the minor on Facebook and shortly after began a sexual relationship with her. Frett would allegedly pick up the minor at night from her home and take her to his residence where they would have sex. Police also alleged that Frett picked up the minor from school after calling the school and pretending he was her father.

Frett was charged with aggravated rape in the second degree, unlawful sexual contact in the second degree and obscene internet contact. He was held on a $100,000 bail and remanded to the custody of the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending further court action.
