Man Arrested With 68 Grams of Marijuana

Police on St. Croix arrested 47-year-old Livingstone S. Taylor Jr. in Estate Grove Place on Saturday and charged him with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute after he was allegedly found with 68 grams of marijuana.

According to police, saturated patrol officers were near Consumer’s Gas Station when they smelled marijuana around 7 p.m. They approached two men standing near a vehicle where the odor was coming from and searched the car, where they allegedly found an aluminum can containing 14 bags of marijuana, totaling 68 grams.

Taylor was arrested and his bail was set at $10,000, which he was unable to post. He was remanded to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending further court action.
