Man Charged for Pushing Pregnant Girlfriend From Car

Akeem Harry, 19, of Estate Williams Delight, was arrested Tuesday and charged with a domestic violence assault against his pregnant girlfriend.
According to police on St. Croix, Harry and his girlfriend, who is five-months pregnant, were having an argument in a parking lot.
The girl told police Harry snatched off her gold necklace and bracelet. He then began to drive off, police say, and opened the passenger door and pushed the victim out of the vehicle.
She was treated for various bruises at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
Harry was arrested at about 6:50 p.m. and charged with assault/domestic violence. He was denied bail due to the domestic violence charges.
