Registration for St. Croix Junior Bowlers Open

        The St. Croix Junior Bowlers, a positive youth development organization dedicated to promoting the sport of bowling, is now accepting registration for the 2012-13 season.  Registration is open to interested youth, ages 4-21.  To register, visit the Web site at www.stxjrbowlers.org, or come to the Tropical Ten Pins Bowling Center at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25. Registration will continue online and every Saturday through Sept. 29.
        Registration is $75 for new members; $50 goes toward league fees and $25 covers the cost of the official league polo shirt.  Returning members pay $50 and may elect to purchase a new shirt at an additional cost of $25. Official league activities begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, at the
Tropical Ten Pins Bowling Center in Estate Castle Coakley; however, all bowlers should plan to arrive at 1:45 p.m. to provide ample time to be ready to bowl promptly at 2 p.m.  The dress code for league bowling is:  long pants, league shirt and bowling shoes.  Newly registered bowlers may wear an appropriate T-shirt and will need to rent shoes ($2/bowler) upon arrival.
