Father's Day Horse Race Card Set

The horses will be off and running on Sunday for the Fathers Day races at the Randall “Doc” James Race Track on what look to be a very exciting, well matched nine-race card. All eyes will be on the seventh and featured race of the day, “The Whose Yo Daddy Classic”, run at a distance of one mile for a purse of $6,000.00. With the absence of St. Croix top two thoroughbreds, Slevin and Berberis, this one looks to be wide open. Former champ, Carse, is now in his third race back from a long injury layoff and has shown improvements in each of his last two races. Another step forward could place him back in the winner’s circle. Erie’s Run and Expect Smoke has been running in some tough company lately and either could win this if he is right. The old warrior, Black Jack Bob, would relish a hot pace up front because, as everyone knows, he will be charging hard late. Beantown and According, both stepping up in class, will have to have a great day, even with the low weights, to get the winner’s purse.

The rest of the day’s card:
