DLCA Releases Latest Gas Price Survey

 

The Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs (DLCA) notifies the public of its latest territory-wide gas price survey findings. The survey was completed on July 19 on St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John.The gas survey is designed to inform consumers on which stations offer the best fuel prices.   
 St. Croix
The lowest prices found on St. Croix for full service gasoline were $4.39 for premium and $3.99 for regular. The lowest prices for self service gasoline were $3.94 for premium and $3.49 for regular. The lowest price for diesel fuel was $3.99 per gallon. 
The following indicates where consumers can find the lowest prices for gasoline in the St. Croix District.
Full service gas for premium and regular is at Welco Gas Station
Self service gas for premium is at Seven Days Service Station and Mini Mart.
Self service gas for regular is at Amigos Service Station, U&W Industrial Supply, Welco Gas Station and Ziggy’s Island Market LLC.
Diesel gas is at Budget Gas Station.
 The highest prices found on St. Croix for full service gasoline were $4.99 for premium and $4.89 for regular. The highest prices for self service gasoline were $4.35 for premium and $3.69 for regular. The highest price for diesel fuel was $4.81 per gallon.
St. Thomas
 The lowest prices found on St. Thomas for full service gasoline were $4.29 for premium and $4.39 for regular. The lowest prices for self service gasoline were $4.64 for premium and $4.34 for regular. The lowest price for diesel fuel was $4.40 per gallon.
The following indicates where consumers can find the lowest prices for gasoline in the St. Thomas District.
Full service gas for premium is at Boynes Trucking, Lindberg Bay.
Full Service gas for regular is at Petrus Gas, Frenchtown.
Self service gas for premium is at Giant Gas – Mandela Circle, One Stop – Sugar Estate and Race Track – Sugar Estate.
Self service gas for regular is at Giant Gas – Mandela Circle, One Stop – Sugar Estate and Race Track – Sugar Estate.
Deisel gas is at Boynes Trucking, Lindberg Bay.
    The highest prices found on St. Thomas for full service gasoline were $4.99 for premium and $4.87 for regular. The highest prices for self service gasoline were $5.09 for premium and $4.99 for regular. The highest price offered for diesel fuel was $5.06.
St. John 
Findings represent prices for the only gas station on St. John, E&C self service station.
The lowest prices are $4.78 for self service premium and $4.35 for self service regular. Diesel is $4.87
