Ten Students from the Virgin Islands Attend Gannon University

Kevin Greaux, Gannon U. freshmanGannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, has enrolled 10 students from the U.S. Virgin Islands, all of whom entered the university in the fall 2009 semester. Each of them has a different outlook on college life and the area in which they now reside. Two of the students, Ludence Romney Jr. and Kevin Greaux, are embarking on different experiences at Gannon.

Romney, a freshman, software engineering major from the St. Thomas area, is adapting well to the many changes in his life. He checks the weather forecasts every morning so as to dress accordingly for the day. His favorite part of college life is getting familiar with the area, and he has made a smooth transition. Besides attending classes and studying, he enjoys playing video games and hanging out with friends.
Greaux is also from the St. Thomas area and graduated from Charlotte Amalie High School. As a communication arts major, he is taking a different route than Romney. Greaux loves to meet people and make new friends. His outgoing and bubbly personality makes it easy to adapt to the new atmosphere.
Greaux, Romney and the other students from the Virgin Islands attending Gannon are actively involved in campus life, participating in clubs and organizations and other activities. The students are wonderful representatives of the University.
