Crucian Christmas Festival Prepares for 60th Anniversary

As the Crucian Christmas Festival organizers prepare for the upcoming 60th anniversary December 2012 through January 2013, it is reaching out to the community for official theme submissions and other suggestions to make this festival the most spectacular in the Caribbean. According to Davidson Charlemange, CCFO president, plans are already underway for the big 60th Festival spectacular. “Everyone is excited. We want the community’s input to make this truly a “Festival of and
for the people.”
The first Festival booth owners' and vendors' meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. July 26 at Gertrude's Restaurant. Additionally, the official Festival Web site is presently under reconstruction. The new site will be more interactive, have more photos and will feature a “Band Page” to showcase local music. www.facebook.com/crucianchristmasfestival
