An Evening of Music, Art and Poetry for Non-Violence Planned

The Silhouette Entertainment Group presents a collaboration of talent featuring musicians, artisans and poets at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 18, poolside at the Divi Carina Bay Hotel. This expression of soul features Ms. Atlanta 2008-2009 Tamisha Liburt, Virgin Islands poet laureate Oyoko Loving, Siete Son, members of the Spoken Word Collective and a wide array of undiscovered local talent backed by the Black Star band.
All proceeds will benefit the Stop The Bleeding Foundation Inc., a non-profit organization fighting to eradicate violence in our homes and community.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, and can be purchased at Violette’s Boutique, Riddim’s Urban Threadz and Cultural Creations of the Virgin Islands in Frederiksted.
