St. Croix Landmarks Society presents World Music Under the Stars. The Summer Concert Series at Whim explores the cultural musical traditions of St. Croix’s Latin, American and Afro-Caribbean heritage. The 2009 concert line-up includes Latin Music from the African Diaspora on Saturday, Sept. 12, featuring Jon Oliver-Knight and Bobby Wilmore.
Gates open at 6 p.m. and performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Ticket holders are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets. There will be local-themed food vendors and a SCLS cash bar.
Tickets will be available beginning on June 23. General Admission tickets (under the stars) are $15 for adults and $5 for children under 12. A limited number of tickets will be available under the tent for $30 and only available at the Whim Museum Store.
