Dr. Adam Shapiro and Virgin Islands Ear, Nose and Throat have announced the opening of their new St. Croix office at the Beeston Hill Medical Center. He has taken over the otolaryngology practice of Dr. Jay Murphy and has been granted privileges at the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital. Virgin Islands Ear, Nose and Throat, established by Dr. Shapiro in 2002 on St. Thomas, will now be offering its services on St. Croix, including: diagnosis and treatment of adult and pediatric ear, nose and throat problems; allergy testing and treatment; acid reflux testing and treatment; hearing and balance testing; hearing aids; voice evaluation and treatment; and diagnosis and treatment of sleep and snoring disorders.
Dr. Shapiro is board certified in otolaryngology and sleep medicine, and serves as the medical director of the St. Thomas Sleep Center. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Surgeons, American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Rhinologic Societ.y
