Artist Don Dahkle will show his latest work at the Maria Henle Studio in an opening on Jan. 12, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Dahkle's architectural paintings and large scale oils on canvas capture the play of light and shadow on the facades of West Indian buildings, with a glimpse through mysterious darkened interiors to the sea and sky beyond.
The artist will also show several paintings with a Mexican flavor from his recent residency in San Miguel Allende. Also showing will be images created on computer, whimsical and graphic limited editions.
