Ali M. Yanes, 33, of Altona was shot to death Sunday on St. Thomas.
According to a Police Department press release issued Monday, officers were dispatched around 10 p.m. Sunday after a report of shots fired and a man down in front of the Soto Town minimart in Estate Contant.
When police arrived, emergency medical technicians were attending to the victim. They later told officers the victim had multiple gunshot wounds and was unresponsive.
Major crime detectives on St. Thomas continue to investigate this case.
