
Thomas John-Hope, also known as “Kay,” of Flamboyant Gardens died on Jan. 5. He was 73 years old. He is survived by his wife: Celestina John-Hope; daughters: Juliet John –Hope, Julie John-Hope, Julia Bailey, Indiana Duncan, Rose Appleton and Frandelle Appleton; sons: Trevor John-Hope, Thomas Appleto and Sgt. Eric Appleton; grandchildren: Tanya John-Hope, Tanisha John-Hope, De’Andra Taylor, Linval Bailey Jr., Lyndon Bailey, Janiyah Bailey, Kareem Ross, Dehlia Ross, Francois Pierre, Destini Appleton and Dimitri Appleton; daughters-in-law: Veronica John-Hope, Simmonette Appleton and Annette Appleton; and sons-in-law: Linval Bailey Sr. and Donley Taylor.
He is also survived by sister, Lucy Nation; brothers: Barette John-Hope and Leslie John-Hope; nieces: Yvette Telemacque, Novenu Casey, Alex Gordon, Ezra Nation, Verdon Domage, Cynthia, Ivy John-Hope, Marie John- Hope and Shakira John- Hope; nephews: Bernard Lee, Julian Prevost, Esq., Zheal Domage, Darren John-Hope, Jonathan John –Hope, Kai John-Hope and Jed John-Hope; sisters-in-law: Inez Appleton, Sarah Appleton, Lena Joseph and Ada Dickinson; aunt, Keturah Alexander; cousins and other relatives: Sonillia Smith and family, Ana Pascal and family, Janey John-Hope and family, Elizabeth Morton and family, Juliette John-Hope and family, Myrtle Ryan and family, Esther Hodge and family, Wayne, Rachel and Petrice Baptiste, Elford Christmas, Phillip Scotland, the Bannis family, the Sylvester family, the Christmas family, the Wiltshire family, the Scotland family; special friends: Phyllis Eustace, Dion Vigilant, Osmond Smith, Thomas Brumant, Dr. Ralph and Mildred De Chabert, and Albert James; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13, at the Central Seventh-day Adventist Church.
