Brief: 'Raggs' TV Show Wants Kids to Audition

June 22, 2009 — Children across the territory have until June 30 to enter the Raggs Rockin' Kids Search for a chance to appear on a special talk show segment of "Raggs," a musical series about five canines that live in a clubhouse with their pet cat, Dumpster.
The series airs weekdays at 8:30 a.m. on WTJX Channel 12. At the end of each episode, Dumpster hosts his own talk show featuring live kids, and producers are searching for 100 children, ages 3 to 7, to appear in the next set of episodes, according to the "Raggs" website.
Auditions will take place online and will run until midnight June 30. Parents can upload their child's 12-minute video submission by clicking here or mail it in using the entry form on the site. Winners will be notified in early July and receive hotel/air transportation to Charlotte, N.C., for the taping in August, according to "Raggs" spokeswoman Ayanna Luke.
Some of the winners will be featured in the show's first ever Halloween-themed episode. Additional shows will be released in February 2010.
