Since the 70’s Every State ( many Cities and Counties)have developed 20-25 year Economic Development Plans. Gov Farrelly was the last to begin the process for a long term one. . We have needed one to focus / guide DOE, EDA, DOL,DPNR .on a coherent future. The question is whether a qualified firm was vetted and hired- and if it’s an off-island company were they smart enough/ required to partner with qualified VI Economist/Planner to ensure cultural competence.
Ps . Im already concerned..a ‘Vision’ is not a blueprint for actualizing that vision. Ijs
