The well-known owner of the Anegada Reef Hotel on Anegada was fatally injured last weekend when a 55-gallon drum he was welding exploded. Lowell Wheatley, 56, died Saturday in Puerto Rico where he had been airlifted following the accident.

At one point in this movie Michael Sullivan asks his son what his favorite school subject is and the boy answers that he likes bible class because "I like the stories." This is a telling line for "Road to Perdition" is in many ways a biblical story.
