Zika Action Day for Families

The V.I. Department of Health (DOH) invites St. Croix families to enjoy free rides and activities, free entertainment and great giveaways at its Zika Action Day.  There will be face painting, a giant slide, an obstacle course, bounce castles and skits from your kids’ favorite characters: Dora Dora, Mickie and Minnie Mouse, Sponge Bob and Elmo. Study up on Zika facts and it is possible to win a gift certificate, a Crucian bracelet, perfume, clothes and other amazing giveaways from Urban Threadz, Strictly the Best, Nav’s Jewelers and Dens’ Jewelers, and much more. During Zika Action Day, DOH will be distributing free Zika Prevention Kits and other resources to pregnant women. Additionally, pregnant women will have the opportunity to sign up to receive free mosquito control services at their homes.
