The Virgin Islands Banking Board will convene. The Banking Board licenses and regulates every local bank that conducts business in the territory. During the meeting, each local bank is required to present through its senior managers its “State of the Bank” report to the board. Each bank is also being asked to comment on the recent bill that legalizes marijuana for medicinal purposes.
