Senate: Youth, Sports, Parks, Recreation

Agenda:
The committee on Youth, Sports, Parks and Recreation will receive a status update from the VI Horse Racing Commission, receive testimony and consider Bill No. 33-0116 and receive status updates from the Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation.
BLOCK I
The committee will receive an updated status on the VI Horse Racing Commission. This update would include any developments made after the April 30, 2019, hearing, agreements made with VIGL and all other pertinent information relative to the horse racing industry in the territory.
BLOCK II
The committee will receive testimony and consider the following bill:
Bill No. 33-0116 – An Act amending Title 32 of the Virgin Islands Code as it relates to the Virgin Islands Horse Racing Commission (Proposed by Sen. Kurt A. Vialet)
BLOCK III
The Committee will receive an updated status specifically on the following information listed below:
Project Worksheets from Witt O’Brien, Coki Point Facility
Ballparks on all three islands
Plans for the recreation centers
Low hanging fruit issues Installation of lights in the park
