Schools Needs Assessment Meetings

In preparation for the writing of the district’s Consolidated Grant Application (CGA), the Office of the Insular Superintendent, St. Croix District, will conclude its series of needs assessment meetings

Time — Stakeholder Groups Meeting

8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. – V.I. Board of Education

10 a.m. to Noon – Members of the 33rd Legislature

2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Private Sector

4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. – National and School-based PTA Officers (two representatives per school)

The purpose of these meetings is to gather information and understand the perspectives of community stakeholders. The assessment will focus on: Understanding the rural and low-income school program and local use of funds; Reviewing of approved Consolidated Grant Application programs and activities; and Identifying and capturing the local needs, opportunities, interventions and approvable activities.
