Ridge to Reef Farm (R2R) will host a ‘Slow Down Hoe Down’ featuring bluegrass music by Smokey’s Farmland Band and BBQ. The event will include a farm tour at 6 p.m.; dinner and live music will happen from 7-10:30 p.m. (bring a chair or blanket for the lawn). The four course Farm-B-Que will feature Chef Andrew Thaldorf of R2R and Chef Brian Wisbauer of balter. The cost is $45/pp for adults or $30 for children 12 and under. Proceeds will go to the VI Farm to School program.
