October is National Arts & Humanities Month, which is a coast-to-coast recognition of the importance of culture in America. This year, the Virgin Islands Council on the Arts (VICA) will celebrate this month by hosting a children’s book-reading event by local authors Yohance Henley and Rick Grant. The St. Croix event will be held today. It will feature storytelling, free book giveaways, bounce houses, face painting, children’s games and live music.
