Archaeology Day in Estate Little Princess

Since the summer of 2017, the Society of Black Archaeologists has been operating a multi-year, sustainable archaeology project at the Estate Little Princess on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, in collaboration with the Slave Wrecks Project. The project includes scholars, students, collaborators and volunteers from across the United States and St. Croix. The project introduces Crucian youth to archaeology and is focused on collecting and conserving artifacts associated with enslaved Africans so people can learn more about their lives and Crucian heritage. All are invited to join it at Estate Little Princess for Archaeology Day. The Society is also actively searching for more people who know about the history of Estate Little Princess, and it wants to hear their stories.
