24th Earth Day EcoFair Set

The 24th Annual Earth Day EcoFair will be held today for 5th and 6th graders. This year’s theme is Environmental and Climate Literacy. The purpose of the EcoFair is to teach basic environmental science concepts through active, hands-on activities. The lessons will increase students’ environmental awareness and encourage them to discover solutions they can implement themselves. Numerous agencies and people will offer hands-on activities and/or interactive presentations. About 520 students from various schools are registered to attend.
