Stephan Moore, dean of students on the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix and acting vice provost of access and enrollment services, was nominated for and selected to receive this year’s African-American Knowledge Community (AAKC) Sankofa Award from the National Association for Student Affairs Administrators (NASPA).

UVI Welcomes New Dean of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences

This spring, the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) welcomed a new dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLASS). Emily Williams Ph.D. brings a wealth of experience in teaching, writing and editing within the humanities. Her specialty focuses on Afro-American and Caribbean Literature.
