There are well over 120 boards and commissions established in V.I. law. Here is a list of 31 of the most important boards that many residents and business people interact with.

FIRST TIME - early voter Lee Seagojo said he stopped by the Election Systems office at Lockhart Gardens, St. Thomas to pick an absentee ballot for a relative. But when he came in and saw a quick and easy way to cast his ballot, he did.
Board of Elections member Lydia Hendricks and half a dozen staffers and poll workers did their best to keep up with voter's as they walked through the doors. "It's been terrible, terribly good," Hendricks said.
More than 1,300 voters performed their civic duty on St. Thomas as of Wednesday.
Early voting starts on Sunday at the Election Systems office on St. John, Marketplace Shopping Center, 3rd floor.
