Woman Arrested in February Domestic Violence Case

A woman wanted in a February domestic violence case was arrested Wednesday after police executed an arrest warrant signed Tuesday, the Virgin Islands Police Department reported.

Police said a complainant reported a domestic violence incident involving Diane Christian on Feb. 10. A detective from the Criminal Investigation Bureau was assigned to the case.

A Superior Court judge approved an arrest warrant for Christian on Tuesday. On Tuesday, officers arrested Christian, 50, on charges of attempted assault, second degree, and petit larceny. Bail was set at $50,000, the police report stated.

Christian posted bail and was released pending her advice of rights hearing scheduled for Thursday in Superior Court, the report stated.
