VITFF Hosts First Cross Country Race for the St. Croix Interscholastic Athletic Association

On Sept. 18, the Virgin Islands Track and Field Federation (VITFF) hosted the first cross-country race for the St. Croix Interscholastic Athletic Association. In the competition, 115 athletes competed in the Elementary 1 Mile Race, the Middle School and Junior Varsity 2 Mile Race, and the 3 Mile Varsity race at the St. Croix Educational Complex facility, the federation announced.

The Female and Male 1 Mile Elementary school winners were Juvantia Hurst, Eulalie Rivera and Malachi Maclorrain, Eulalie Rivera, according to the press release.

The winners in the 2 Mile Race for Middle School were Faith Eatmon, Eulalie Rivera and Cole Cullinan, Good Hope Country Day, the press release stated.

The 2 Mile Junior Varsity winners were Safiya Prasad, St. Croix Educational Complex and Junvante Hurst, St. Croix Educational Complex, the release stated.


In the 3 Mile for the Varsity Division, the winners were Asia Williams, Good Hope Country Day, and Ayden Cintron, Good Hope Country Day, it said.
