Ernest W. James, also known as “Ernie,” of Mt. Pleasant East died on Jan. 5. He was 60 years old.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Hulder A. Greenidge; and step-father, Noel H. Greenidge.

He is survived by his son, Gregory James; step-brother, Keith Greenidge; sister, Gabriele Feigenbutz; nephew and nieces: Nathalie, Jonas and Leana; step-nephew: Kamron Noel Greenidge; step-sister-in-law, Sharon Cowsert Greenidge; special friend and neighbor: Angelita Gautier and family; friends: Renate and Sabrina Brumant, and attorney Vincent Colianni; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

A Celebration of Life services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30, at James Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
