Jose Antonio Hodge Dies at 52

Jose Antonio Hodge died on April 26 at Schneider Regional Medical Center. He was 52 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Hodge-Matthew; sons: Julio Hodge and Jose Lima; brothers: Leonaldo Hodge, Franklyn Thomson, Recaldo “Emmett” Hutchason and Wayne Matthew; sisters: Sandra Thomson and Lisa Matthew; fatherly companion, Lionel L. Benjamin; cousins: Maria Richards, Roberto Richards and James Barry; dear friends: J. Denzel Daley, Dale Swan, Mervin Woodley, Julio Diaz, Liz, Joseph “Biso” Graham and Johnny Henley Sr.; nieces and nephews: Suhila, Lakeya, Nickyma, Lunece, Amile, Lesha, Nefruse, Kareem, James and Ishwa, Israel; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 25, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.

All arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home, 774-1464.
