Helen Laudat died on April 3.
She is survived by her husband and best friend, Andrew Laudat; sons:Kenworth Bruney, Phillip Laudat, Andrew Laudat Jr. and Philmon Laudat; daughter, Sandra Laudat-Porcher; brothers: Claytas Desmond Bruney, Stanley St. Hilaire, and Denis Estrada; sisters: Mary LaRonde, Sybil McClendon and Beverly Baron; son-in-law,Christopher Porcher; brothers-in-law:Fabien Laronde, Tommy McClendon and Jerome Blyden; daughters-in-law:Tasha Laudat, Jackie Laudat, and Virginia Bruney; sisters-in-law:Helen St. Hilaire and Vernet Bruney; and grandchildren:Kelly, Krystal and Kishma Bruney, Jazmin and Philicia Ragsdale, Aniyah Laudat, Ramiya Ricks, Jahai Porcher, Andrew Laudat III, Tyler Laudat and Philmon Laudat Jr.;
She is also survived by nephews:Mandisah David, Greg Baron, Alvin Laronde, Romain and Keedem Bruney; Dorian, Anstan and Stanley St. Hilaire Jr., Kennald Estrada, and Cuthbert Cuffy; aunt: Norma Hurtault and Gweneth Bruney; nieces:Autumn McClendon, Eva Estrada, Cynthia Miller, Mandy, Joy and Dominique Estrada, Melissa and Sherry Baron, Fernella St. Hilaire, Neuvena Cuffy, Annette Hurtault Cooper, and Mabel Hurtault Estrada; special friends:Bertha Samuel, Janet Griffith, Damlet Berkitt, Bernadette Pinney and the Ebenezer Baptist Church family, cousin Bernice Coumarbatch, Sonia Claxton and the Little Switzerland family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a first viewing from 7:45-8:45 p.m. on Friday, April 13, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. There will be a second viewing at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, at Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery.
