The University of the Virgin Islands will be holding a one-day “Fundamentals of Marketing” workshop for individuals who are new to marketing and need a basic and yet thorough overview. The workshopwill be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14. The workshop will be held at the UVICELL Center on St. Thomas, and at the Joseph A. Simpson Building, No. 23A Hospital Street in Frederiksted, St. Croix.
The workshop is part of a series being offered by the University of the Virgin Islands – Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVICELL) Center in conjunction with the American Management Association (AMA). Participants will learn the essentials, such as how to develop a marketing strategy and prepare an effective marketing plan, make sound and timely decisions based on current market information, apply the four ‘P’s of marketing to your company needs, use technology to gather critical marketing data, and much more.
