Progress is continuing to be made on the Paul E. Joseph Stadium, the Department of Public Works announced Thursday.
DPW contractor – GEC, LLC โ has begun plastering and painting the exterior walls of the stadium.

The contractor has also started construction of the interior walls for both concourse levels.

Recently, the construction of the upper concourse floor slab was completed. Steel reinforcement and concrete pours for the bleachers, stairs and risers are still in progress.

How is it that the โSource Staffโ can so consistently fail to mention such obvious details such as, in this case, where the stadium is located? Are we supposed to just โknowโ, based on the โnameโ, if this is the stadium being built in Fredricksted, or even on which island? Arenโt you in the business of providing โinformationโ?
As an aside, why does every government project have a name associated with it, which doesnโt provide a clue as to what it is or where?
