Akil Gumbs Dalmida died on May 16 on St. John He was 41 years old.

Curts R. Gilpin Sr., James Dalmida and Justin Dalmida; and aunts: Vivienne C. LaBorde-Luyombya, Jean Hodge Janis Dalmida and Joyce Whitaker.
He is also survived by uncles-in-law: Kaddu Luyombya and Rhys Hodge; aunt-in-law, Margo Dalmida; nephews: Margo Dalmida, Kaeden Boynes, Jayce St. John and Jason Dalmida III; nieces: Thea Baker and Amaya Hull; special cousins: Alana Thomas, Rochester Lewis, Daren Lewis, Deisia Smith, Deborah Joseph, Angel Joseph; and godparents: Mary Stephen, Lillian Moolenaar, Edith Dawson George, Aileen Swift, Charlene McBean and Alvin Joseph.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, June 10, at Nisky Moravian Church. The viewing will begin at 9 a.m. with service to follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be cremation.
