Electrical Service Interruption Scheduled on May 31 and June 5 on St. Croix.

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA or Authority) informs the public of a scheduled electrical service interruption on St. Croix related to work being conducted on manholes on Melvin Evans Highway near Midland Substation.

Feeders 10A, 10B, 9B, 8B, 9A and 6B will experience a momentary outage at 8 a.m., Wednesday, May 31, and again at 6 p.m., Monday, June 5, as WAPA personnel de-energize and isolate the work zone to allow contractors to safely perform work on the respective feeders.
