Saturday will be partly sunny, with more sunshine in the afternoon than in the morning hours. The high temperature will be approximately 82°F, 27.7°C, with winds out of the east-northeast at about 23 mph, gusting up to 29 mph.
On Saturday night, skies will be partly cloudy, with a chance of scattered showers. Precipitation is forecast to occur primarily after midnight. The low temperature will be around 73°F, 22.7°C, with winds out of the east-northeast at about 20 to 23 mph, gusting up to 28 mph. The chance of rain on Saturday night is approximately 30%.
Dry conditions this week may lead to an increased risk of “fire weather.”

On Saturday, seas will be 5 to 7 feet, occasional seas up to 9 feet, and a swell period of 7 seconds. Winds will be out of the east-northeast at around 15 to 20 knots, gusting up to 30 mph.

A “High Rip Current Risk” will be in effect for portions of the USVI and Puerto Rico until at least 6 a.m. AST on Monday.
A “Small Craft Advisory” will be in effect for areas of the local waters until at least 8 a.m. on Monday.

HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS

Tropical Activity: The tropics are quiet.
The 2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season will begin on June 1. A United Kingdom-based organization, “Tropical Storm Risk” (TSR), has issued a prediction for the 2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season.
