Man Turns Himself In, Unable to Post Bail

In July 2022 a report of a reckless driving complaint was filed. After an investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained for the arrest of a man on St. Croix on March 14, the V.I. Police Department reported.

On Monday, an all-points bulletin was aired in search of Kertis Tonge Jr., 32, who turned himself in on Tuesday, police said.

Tonge, Jr., was arrested and unable to post the $30,000 bail. He faces charges of reckless endangerment first and assault third. He was transported to corrections where he was remanded pending his advice of rights hearing, according to the report.
