Man Strikes Individual in the Face At St. Thomas Business

A man on St. Thomas assaulted an individual at a place of business, the V.I. Police Department reported.

On Wednesday, Joseph Fenton was arrested for striking an individual in the face at Crown Mountain Water during what was said to be a misunderstanding. The strike caused facial injuries to the victim, according to the police report.

Fenton, 39, was arrested and charged with assault and disturbance of the peace. Bail was set at $25,000. He was unable to post bail and turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending advice of rights, the report stated.
